Bryant Thompson is the founder and CEO of Red Level Entertainment. Bryant was born and raised on the south side of Chicago, was raised with the entrepreneurial spirit his late father Charlie F. Thompson. In high school he would buy candy in bulk, packaged and sold it for a profit to students as well as teachers.
While in college, he created and marketed African American History t-shirts. And In his early twenties, Bryant began promoting parties and events, which marked the beginning and foundation to his current business. In the year 2000 Bryant visited New Orleans for Maudi Gras, here he found inspirations from the event promoters.
He decided to incorporate what he learned in New Orleans, into the Chicago market. That was the birth of “Monday Madness”, a weekly event for Chicago land artist. Every Monday you could find comedians, singers , and poets, delivering live performances. Whether it was singing , poetry, sketch and/ or stand-up comedy, people were greatly entertained. “Monday Madness” soon became the platform for aspiring artists to perform and perfect their craft. Monday Madness has been featured in the Chicago Tribune, Rolling Out and on Metromix.
The promotion of Monday Madness was such a success, that Bryant began to receive request from other businesses to promote their events. In 2001, Bryant founded Red Level Entertainment, an entertainment and marketing company that specializes in email marketing, branding and special events. Red Level Entertainment continues to help market and promote businesses by spearheading branding campaigns to increase their visibility. With the growing demand and usage of the internet in 2005, Bryant began marketing online using his database to send email blasts to more than 5000 subscribers. Bryant has grown Red Level Entertainment from a list of close friends and family to a list of more than 17,000 subscribers nationally.
Red Level Entertainment is responsible for promoting events of small and large businesses in more than 8 cities through out the US. Red Level Entertainment is an ever-evolving company that is always looking to expand to the next level. Their expectation is to reach more than 100,000 subscribers nationally by 2018
