12 th Annual National Pancake Day® Fundraiser Aims to Raise $3.5 Million For Local Charities
Miss Illinois, Jaryn Franklin, Visits Halsted IHOP to Flip and Serve Guests Free Pancakes on March 7 th
WHAT: Miss Illinois titleholder, Jaryn Franklin, is partnering with IHOP® Restaurants in support of Children’s Miracle Network as a spokesperson for the brand’s 12 th annual National Pancake Day. On March 7, she will visit a Chicago-are a IHOP restaurant on Halste d Street to flip and serve free pancakes with a purpose while helping to raise funds for the Children’s Miracle Network and the Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago.

WHY: On March 7, National Pancake Day, IHOP restaurants nationwide will offer each guest one free short stack of buttermilk pancakes to raise awareness and funds for the Children’s Miracle Network and its member hospital, the Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago
This year, IHOP Restaurants is celebrating the 12th annual National Pancake Day and hopes to raise $3.5 million . To find a local IHOP restaurant or to donate online, visit www.ihoppancakeday.com. For every delicious short stack of buttermilk pancakes served on National Pancake Day, guests are invited to donate to their local Children’s Miracle Network hospital.

7:00 a.m. – 10:00 a. m. Miss Illinois, Jaryn Franklin trades her sash for a spatula and flips and serves pancakes to guests at the IHOP restaurant located at 3760 N Halsted St reet, Chicago, IL.
