For Damion Murrill, Christmastime is special not because of the presents under the tree, but because of the celebration of the birth of the Savior. He is commemorating this special season with a brand new single. Murrill and his singing aggregation, Siloam, recently finished recording an unforgettable rendition of “O Holy Night” at Damion’s Divinity Studios in Wilmington, NC. The track is available for purchase now on iTunes, Amazon and Google Play along with other digital retailers.
The moving arrangement features the familiar tune with a Gospel twist. Featuring the impressive vocals of Siloam, the track was produced, recorded and arranged by Murrill himself. The song sets the atmosphere for enjoying Christmas with family and friends near the tree. Murrill enjoys the tune and says, “I love this song because it’s one of the few classic Christmas songs that talks about the birth of our Savior. This holiday, as our listeners enjoy their families, we pray that this song will remind them of the true meaning of Christmas.”
The holidays are special to the members of Siloam as well and each member has recorded a video about what Christmas and “O Holy Night” means to them. The new single, “O Holy Night”, caps off an impressive year for the Wilmington, NC-based ensemble. The ensemble won two 2016 Rhythm of Gospel Awards for Contemporary Group/Ensemble Of The Year and Product Packaging Of The Year. In addition, they were nominated for a 6th Annual Gospel Blue M.I.C. Achievement Award for Group/Duo of the Year. They also were featured on TBN, The Christian Television Network, TCT-TV and The Dorinda Show.
